Stable Cottage, located in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, is a charming 2 bedroom/2 bathroom self-catering holiday cottage that dates back to 1897. Originally a stable, it has been beautifully converted into a cozy holiday retreat. The living area on the ground floor features a well-fitted kitchen, dining area, and a sitting room with a wood-burning stove and views of the surrounding fields. There is a twin bedroom downstairs with an adjacent wet room, which can be converted into an additional double room upon request.
Upstairs, the master suite boasts a King-sized bed and a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The cottage can accommodate four guests in total, with space for an additional child on a put-up bed or travel cot. While not specifically designed for disabled access, the cottage is suitable for those with limited mobility, with solid paving from the parking area, an open-plan living area, and a downstairs bedroom with a shower wet room.
The property also offers two other 2-bedroom cottages, as well as larger cottages that can be booked on a low occupancy basis if the 2-bedroom cottages are fully booked. Dogs are welcome at the cottages, with some house rules and an additional charge of £40 per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs per booking. The cottage's central location provides easy access to local landmarks such as St Mary's Church and Beverley North Bar, as well as natural attractions like the North Cave Wetlands Nature Reserve. Families traveling with children can also enjoy nearby amenities such as Hollywood Bowl and Drewton's Farm Shop.
