The New Chapel is a former Methodist chapel located in the small village of Great Hatfield, 4 miles from the seaside town of Hornsea in Yorkshire. The cottage sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms - one double with en-suite wet room and one twin (zip-link, can be king-size double on request) with en-suite wet room. The open plan living area includes a fitted kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a woodburning stove and double sofa bed. The cottage offers amenities such as eco underfloor heating, Smart TVs, WiFi, and bike storage.

The seaside delights of Hornsea are a short drive away, while historic York is easily accessible by car, making The New Chapel a great base for a break in Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park, covering 554 square miles of heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, is a haven for walkers. The seaside town of Hornsea offers sandy beaches, a promenade, small shops, pubs, and cafes, with easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds, North York Moors, and other east coast resorts.

Amenities at The New Chapel include electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove. Bed linen and towels are included, with a travel cot and highchair available on request. There is roadside parking in front of the cottage, and weekly adult bike hire is available on a first come, first served basis. The cottage does not allow pets or smoking. Nearby attractions include Hornsea Museum, Hull and East Riding Museum, Hornsea Freeport, Trinity Market, Arctic Corsair, and Hands on History Museum.
