Located in the heart of England in York, East Riding of Yorkshire, Beech Tree Lodge is a charming log cabin that sleeps two people in one bedroom. The detached cottage is nestled on the outskirts of Stamford Bridge in the small Yorkshire village of Full Sutton. The single-story lodge features a king-size double bed with a free-standing bath, a shower room, and an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. Outside, there is ample off-road parking, bike storage, and a decked balcony with a hot tub and furniture, offering a romantic retreat in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The lodge is equipped with LPG central heating, an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD player, iPod dock, and a selection of books and DVDs. Bed linen, towels, a travel cot, and a highchair are included in the rent. The property does not allow pets or smoking and is situated near an A road, so some road noise may be experienced when outside. There is an unfenced pond 50 yards from the property, and children must be supervised at all times. Additionally, car charging is prohibited at the property.
Stamford Bridge, where the lodge is located, was historically a Roman settlement with a fording point over the River Derwent. The village now offers a selection of shops and restaurants and is known for the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066, marking the end of the Viking era in Britain. Nearby attractions include the North York Moors National Park, with its diverse landscape, and the pretty Yorkshire market towns of Malton, Beverley, and Driffield. Within an hour's drive is the unspoiled coastal resort of Filey with open beaches and the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton, making Beech Tree Lodge an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.
