The cottage is situated on a quiet country lane, offering pleasant walks while being very close to the coast. Saundersfoot itself is a popular holiday destination with two beautiful sandy beaches, a bustling harbour, and a scenic coastal path running through the village. Nearby Tenby offers cobbled streets, shops, and restaurants, while Oakwood Theme Park with Europe's longest wooden rollercoaster is a short drive away, catering to adventurous visitors of all ages. History enthusiasts can explore castles at Manorbier, Carew, and Pembroke, while pubs and shops in Kilgetty are within walking distance.
The cottage, which was thoughtfully refurbished in 2018, features a cosy lounge with a wood burner, TV, and comfortable seating, leading into a dining room with French doors opening to the outside. A well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a utility room, and a convenient WC are also on the ground floor, along with a double bedroom with an en suite shower and a separate lounge area for children and teenagers. Upstairs, there are three additional bedrooms - one king size, one double, and a twin (which can be converted into a super king size upon request) - as well as a well-appointed bathroom with a roll top bath, separate shower, and WC.
Outside, the cottage boasts a fabulous enclosed garden with a large lawn, raised patio area with furniture, fire pit, BBQ, and a play area with swings. Various decks, including one with a hammock, offer relaxation spots for guests to unwind with a book and a glass of wine. The garden backs onto open fields, providing a peaceful and private outdoor space for both couples and families. Off-road parking for three cars is available, making this cottage an ideal retreat for those looking to explore the beautiful surroundings of Saundersfoot and beyond.
