Situated on the River Teifi, this secluded family-friendly town cottage is nestled in the medieval part of historic Cardigan. The property offers a large enclosed garden with a boat mooring and slipway, as well as free parking for up to 3 cars. The brand new kitchen and garden patio were installed in June 2020, with a new upstairs shower room added in January 2023. One small dog is welcome on the premises.
Within close proximity to the cottage are six classic beaches including Mwnt, Tresaith, Llangrannog, Poppit Sands, Newport, and Penbryn, all just a short drive away. Guests can also enjoy walking distance to town amenities such as restaurants, cafes, shops, and a market (currently undergoing refurbishment). Theatre Mwldan offers movies and live shows, and visitors can take a towpath walk into the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve to observe kingfishers, otters, wading birds, and diverse flora and fauna. The Glasshouse Cafe provides delicious food, and entry to the reserve and visitor center is free.
A must-see attraction in the area is the newly restored Cardigan Castle, which was home to the first Eisteddfod in 1176.
