Y Cartws is an attractive cottage located near Llandysul in Dyfed, Wales. Situated on a small holding with a world-famous stud farm of Welsh ponies and Cobs, this former cart house is adjacent to the owner's property. The stone-built property is ideally located for exploring the coast and countryside of Cardigan Bay, as well as the Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The open-plan living room features plush seating, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy wood burner effect electric fire. Upstairs, there are comfortable bedrooms including a single and a family room with a double and single bed.

Outside, there is a seating area for enjoying warm afternoons. The cottage is a short drive from Llandysul, where guests can find local shops, pubs, and cafes. The nearby pub is pet-friendly and serves traditional food. The coastline is just 15 miles away, offering pretty seaside villages, coves, and the stunning Penbryn beach. Boat trips are available from New Quay to spot dolphins, grey seals, and birdlife. Aberaeron, Lampeter, Newcastle Emlyn, and Carmarthen are all within easy reach for further exploration.

Llandysul is a village with the River Teifi running through it, offering opportunities for canoeing, rock climbing, and kayaking with the Llandysul Paddlers. The surrounding area provides numerous walking and cycling options to observe wildlife, including Red Kites. Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni mountain offer fantastic cycling and walking trails with breathtaking views.
