The bedrooms can be configured to accommodate different sleeping arrangements, and amenities such as a travel cot, highchair, and baby bath are available upon request. The bathroom includes a bath with an overhead electric shower, and guests have access to a shared washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Rosneath Peninsula, where the cottage is located, projects south from Garelochhead and offers breathtaking views and beautiful coastline. Kilcreggan, a small village at the southern tip of the peninsula, features the last remaining original Victorian pier on the Clyde, as well as a variety of shops and amenities. The area grew during the era of the Clyde steamers, with distinctive houses built to enjoy views across the Clyde to the hills of Argyll. Kilcreggan Pier serves as the terminus for the ferry to Gourock, providing additional options for dining and shopping.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity of the Arrochar Alps, Faslane, and Colport Naval Bases, all just a short drive away from the cottage. The area offers opportunities for birdwatching, game walks, and enjoying the natural beauty of Loch Long and Carraig an Roin. The cottage is conveniently located on School Road in Kilcreggan, with a bus stop at the bottom of the road offering hourly service to Helensburgh. Helensburgh, a 20-30 minute drive away, provides regular train service to Glasgow and the north of Scotland, while the Kilcreggan ferry to Gourock runs hourly Monday to Saturday.

Guests staying at the cottage will have access to the entire property, including the private rear garden and parking to the front. The hosts, who live next door, are available to assist with any questions or problems, with one partner fluent in Spanish and French. While the cottage does not have a TV, guests can enjoy a selection of DVDs, board games, and books in English and French.
