The property sits in 3/4 acres of coastal garden, providing a peaceful retreat from everyday life. Carrick Bay boasts a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for activities like building sandcastles, rock pooling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Nearby attractions include Cream o' Galloway for ice cream and cheese making workshops, the Cocoa Bean Chocolate Factory, and Galloway Activity Centre for land and water-based activities on Loch Ken.
Located approximately 5 miles from Gatehouse of Fleet, visitors can enjoy small shops, a nine-hole golf course, river and loch fishing, Cardoness Castle, and the ruins of Anwoth Church. Further afield, Kirkcudbright offers art galleries, a cookery school, a community-run swimming pool, and independent shops and eateries. Owl Cote accommodates 5 guests over 2 floors, with a master bedroom, a second bedroom that can be converted into twin beds, a single bedroom, a family bathroom, and an ensuite bathroom.
