The master bedroom has an ensuite shower, while the second bedroom is a twin. The lodge also includes a bath with a shower attachment, a beautifully finished kitchen, and an open plan living/dining area with a flame effect woodburner. Sliding doors lead to a spacious split-level decking area with outdoor furniture and the luxury hot tub.

Westlands Country Park, part of the Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection, is an ideal country retreat in the Borders of Scotland. The park offers various activities such as clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing on-site, as well as opportunities for walking and relaxing in the hot tub. Guests can also explore the surrounding area, including the market town of Annan. To access the lodge, a £200 security deposit is required, which is held on a credit or debit card and released upon departure after the accommodation is checked.

In addition to the lodge amenities, guests can opt to rent bath robe and slipper sets for £10 per person, with one set of towels provided per guest and one toilet roll per lodge. Hot tubs and swim spas are not to be used after 11pm to respect other guests, and noise should be kept to a minimum after this time. Activities like clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing are available on-site and need to be booked in advance. Any single sex parties or group bookings must be approved by Hoseasons before confirmation to avoid entry refusal.

The lodge is located near various local landmarks such as Thomas Carlyle's Birthplace and Clan Armstrong Centre. The area offers activities like visiting Annandale Distillery, Spoilt Spa at Smiths, Dino Park, and Lockerbie Ice Rink. The park is undergoing construction for a new visitor center with a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room, set to open in the Summer of 2020. Facilities that cannot operate in line with government social distancing guidelines will be temporarily suspended, while others like takeaway options, supermarkets, and laundrette services will remain available for guests' safety.
