Westlands Country Park is known for its clay pigeon shooting using competition level equipment, as well as well-stocked fly-fishing lakes for a quintessential Scottish countryside experience. Guests can enjoy walking around the beautiful countryside or relax in the hot tub. A £200 security deposit is required on arrival, bathrobe and slipper sets are available for an additional fee, and towels and toilet paper are provided. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 11pm to respect other guests. Clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing are available on-site, and must be booked in advance.

Any single-sex parties or group bookings need approval from Hoseasons before confirmation. Construction near reception is for a new visitor center with a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room, set to open in the Summer of 2020.
