The central living area boasts a unique layout with a full-height part wall separating the kitchen-dining area from the lounge. Westlands Country Park, part of the Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection, offers a tranquil countryside escape in the Borders of Scotland. The park is known for its clay pigeon shooting and fly-fishing lakes, providing a quintessential Scottish countryside experience. Guests can also enjoy walking around the beautiful countryside or simply relax in the hot tub. Access to the lodge requires a £200 security deposit, which is held and released upon departure after the accommodation is checked.

The park offers clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing on site, open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. Advance booking is recommended for clay pigeon shooting to avoid disappointment. Single sex parties or group bookings must be approved by Hoseasons before confirmation. The park is undergoing construction for a new visitor center with a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room, set to open in the Summer of 2020. Facilities that cannot operate in accordance with government guidelines on social distancing will be temporarily suspended for the safety of guests.

Located in Annan, the lodge is close to Annandale Distillery, Spoilt Spa at Smiths, Dino Park, and Lockerbie Ice Rink, providing plenty of activities and attractions for guests to explore. Bathrobe and slipper sets are available for an additional fee, and towels and toilet rolls are provided for guests. Hot tubs and swim spas are not to be used after 11pm to minimize noise disturbance for other guests on the park.
