The park offers clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing, as well as tranquil surroundings for a quintessential Scottish countryside break.
Guests at Westlands Country Park can enjoy activities such as clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing on site, with equipment provided for novices and professionals alike. The park also offers a range of facilities, including a hot tub, and bath robe & slipper sets available for an additional fee. To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, hot tubs and swim spas are not to be used after 11pm, and noise must be kept to a minimum. Any single sex parties or group bookings must be approved by Hoseasons before confirmation, and facilities are subject to government guidance on social distancing.
A swipe of a credit or debit card is required on arrival for a £200 security deposit, which will be released upon departure after the accommodation is checked. The building work near reception is for a new visitor center opening in the Summer of 2020, with a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room. Activities such as clay pigeon shooting need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Any facilities unable to operate in line with social distancing guidelines will be temporarily suspended for the safety of guests. The cottage is conveniently located in Annan, with attractions such as Annandale Distillery and Spoilt Spa at Smiths nearby for guests to explore.
