Guests at Westlands Country Park can enjoy activities such as clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing on site, as well as relaxing in the hot tub. A security deposit of £200 is required on arrival, which will be released upon departure after the accommodation has been checked. Additional amenities such as bath robe & slipper sets are available for an extra charge, and one set of towels per guest and one toilet roll per lodge are provided. Hot tubs and swim spas are not to be used after 11pm to respect others staying on the park.
The park is currently undergoing construction for a new visitor centre, which will include a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room, set to open in the Summer of 2020. Any facilities unable to operate in line with government guidance on social distancing will be temporarily suspended to ensure the safety of guests. The lodge is located near cultural highlights such as The Devil's Porridge and Clan Armstrong Centre, as well as landmarks like Thomas Carlyle's Birthplace and Gilnockie Tower. Dino Park and Lockerbie Ice Rink are also nearby attractions worth visiting.
