Sleeping up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, it's the ideal place for a large gathering, particularly for those looking to appreciate countryside relaxation or who would like to get active on the forest walks and bike trails easily accessible from the cottage.

Despite its tranquil location, the village is just a mile from the village of Ashmore, which is the highest village in Dorset and boasts incredible views and plentiful walking trails. There are some fantastic pubs within easy reach, too, including the Fontmell and the Beckford Arms, and you're just six miles from the town of Shaftesbury.

The cottage itself has everything you could want. On the ground floor you'll find a sitting room that's perfect for socialising and relaxing, with an inglenook fireplace complete with open fire for that cosy feeling. There's also an additional secluded sitting area for more peaceful pursuits like getting lost in a good book. You'll have multiple options for where to eat your meals, with a fully furnished dining room as well as a farmhouse table in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you need for self-catering, with an oven and electric hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There's also a handy shower room on this floor.

On the first floor you'll find four comfortable bedrooms, two doubles and two twins, as well as the main bathroom with bath and handheld shower attachment. The property is an ideal place to stay on those sunny days, with a full acre of orchard garden complete with picnic tables and benches. You'll find logs for the fire in the adjoining sheds, as well as an additional freezer unit.There is plenty of room to park cars on the grounds, and the property is protected by secure fencing.
