The cottage also has an elm dining table that can seat ten guests if booked together with Apple Cottage.

One unique feature of Plum Cottage is the third bedroom, which is located in a Shepherd's Hut in the garden. This cozy space includes a double bed and a wood-burning stove, providing a charming and intimate sleeping area for guests. Foodies will appreciate the welcome basket of local, homemade treats provided upon arrival, including freshly baked bread, free-range eggs, home-baked treats, locally produced jam, milk, and a selection of Dorset teas and ground coffee.

For larger groups, Plum Cottage can be booked alongside Apple Cottage to accommodate up to 12 people. Discounts are available when booking both cottages together. The cottage also offers a welcome basket of logs, a high chair and travel cot upon request, and allows one well-behaved dog for a small additional charge. Instead of a traditional Damage Deposit, the owner holds a 'card on file' for security purposes, with instructions provided prior to arrival on how to do this safely and securely.
