The Stables is a secluded cottage located in the New Forest National Park on the outskirts of Burley village in Dorset, England. It sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is pet-friendly. The cottage is part of a large country estate accessible via a track through the forest. Guests are asked to shut and secure the main gates to prevent forest animals from entering the garden. The surrounding area offers direct access to the forest, panoramic views, walking and biking routes, beaches, and horse riding opportunities.
The Stables have been completely renovated to modern standards and are ideal for guests who cannot climb stairs. The accommodation includes a large kitchen diner, a comfortable living room, and three well-appointed bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin single beds. The bathroom has a separate shower, and there is also a downstairs cloakroom. Outside, there is a patio garden with a covered dining area for alfresco dining. The cottage also provides free Wifi with high-speed internet.
Guests can bring their bikes and store them in the shared bike store on-site. There is parking for 3 cars, and two medium-sized dogs are welcome to accompany guests. A cot and high chair are available upon request. The owners aim to welcome guests in person while practicing social distancing, but keys can also be left in a key safe for self-check-in. The cottage follows a Covid-19 cleaning regime to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests. The location of the cottage in Ringwood offers access to nearby attractions such as Highcliffe Castle, Edmondsham House and Gardens, New Forest National Park, and Moors Valley Country Park. Outdoor activities like windsurfing, hiking, and cycling are also available in the area.
