The ancient Iron Age fort of Eggardon Hill is close by, and countless walking and cycling routes and scenic views are easily accessible, making it a wonderful rural hideaway.

On the ground floor of Rose Cottage you'll find a cosy sitting room that's perfect for unwinding and socialising, with a woodburning stove and an inglenook fireplace to give it that traditional ambience, as well as a TV with Freeview channels. The open-plan kitchen and dining room is well equipped for self-catering, with two AGA cookers, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.
