The cottage is located in the tranquil village of Langton Matravers in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, in the South West of England. It sleeps up to 5 people and features a nearby pub, proximity to the coast, and an open fire. The village offers amenities such as a popular pub, village shop, and parish church, with the Jurassic Coast just a twenty-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the historic village of Corfe Castle, the seaside resort of Swanage, and the hilltop villages of Kingston and Worth Matravers. Visitors can also explore places like Kingston Lacey and the RSPB nature reserve at Arne.

Upon entering the cottage, guests are greeted by a light and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with original features like exposed stonework and a Purbeck flagstone floor. The lounge is tastefully furnished with comfy seating, a wood burner, SkyTV, and a selection of books and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities including an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The first floor houses three bedrooms, including a master double with a king size bed, a double with an original fireplace, and a single with countryside views. An additional inflatable bed can be provided for children. A shower room with WC is also located on this floor.

Outside, a pretty south facing enclosed garden features a flagstone patio with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. The patio also includes a transparent cover revealing the original water well with goldfish. From the garden, guests can enjoy views of Swanage Bay and the Isle of Wight on clear days. Bikes and outdoor equipment can be stored in the garden shed, and parking for three cars is available in the gravel driveway at the top of the garden. Visitors should note that the garden path has changes in levels and uneven surfaces for safety.
