Vineyard Farm Cottage

Wareham, Dorset

Vineyard Farm is a pretty thatched cottage situated just below Corfe Castle. The cottage takes its name from the castle’s vineyard, which was located in field nearby. The cottage boasts wood burning stove and large, traditional inglenook fireplace. 

After breakfast, wander up the hill to the castle. Explore this ancient ruin before spending the afternoon discovering the local area. The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore this pretty corner of Dorset.

Further afield, the seaside towns of Bournemouth and Poole play host to pretty sandy beaches, great shops and fabulous restaurants. Further south, the fascinating Jurassic Coast, where dinosaurs once roamed. Loop onto the South West Coast Path and see if you can find any fossils along the way.
