Groom’s is a quirky little holiday cottage located in the historic village of Corfe Castle. Once the home of the groom to a now converted medieval merchant house, to which the holiday home is attached, Groom’s Cottage sits in the shadow of the castle, towering above. Inside, it’s a world away from its medieval beginnings with contemporary décor running throughout the cottage. 

Explore Corfe Castle, a relic of the English Civil War, before heading out into to the village with its independent shops, traditional pubs, tearooms and fascinating museum. 

Between April and October, don’t miss out on a trip on the Swanage Railway, which passes close to the cottage. The town of Swanage is a joy to visit all-year-round, even if you don’t arrive via steam train. For walks along the coast, loop onto the South West Coast Path and discover the golden sand dunes and chalk stacks of Studland Bay.
