Buckland Newton, located in the picturesque South West of England, is home to an interesting collection of cottages collectively known as Dominey's Yard. This delightful accommodation consists of Gardener’s, Poacher’s, Woodcutter’s, and Gamekeeper’s cottages, which are ideal for families or larger gatherings, accommodating up to 18 guests. Each cottage is thoughtfully designed and well-equipped, featuring amenities such as a wood-burning stove, Smart television, and comfortable seating. The kitchens are fully functional, including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine, along with a convenient ground floor cloakroom.

On the first floor of each cottage, guests will find beautifully styled bedrooms adorned with high-quality linens, decorative cushions, and throws. Three of the cottages offer a combination of a king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a family shower room, while the larger Gardener’s cottage boasts a super-king size bedroom with an en-suite, a king-size bedroom, a twin room, a family bathroom, and an additional shower room. Each cottage also features a private patio terrace equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue, leading to a spacious shared garden area and a designated children's play area with garden games.

The grounds of Dominey's Yard include a large heated outdoor swimming pool, available from May to September, complete with a surrounding terrace and sun loungers, providing a perfect gathering spot for guests. Additionally, seasonal home-grown fruit and vegetables are available, and the area is rich in wildlife, making it a relaxing environment for visitors. Guests can enjoy leisurely strolls around the extensive garden, immersing themselves in the tranquil setting.

Situated at the head of the Piddle Valley, Buckland Newton features a family-run pub and a village shop within walking distance, enhancing the convenience of the location. The cottages are ideally positioned for exploring nearby attractions, including the historic Abbey town of Sherborne and the County town of Dorchester. The stunning Jurassic Coast, known for its beautiful beaches and scenic South West Coast Path, is just 18 miles away, making this holiday destination both accessible and appealing.

Guests have the flexibility to book the entire collection of four cottages for larger groups or individual cottages for smaller parties, subject to availability.
