The lounge diner is warm and homely, and is the perfect place to relax after a busy day. There is a single large sofa, and a smaller sofa for couples. There is a flat screen TV with DVD player. Meals are eaten on the country style pine dining table, which sits next to the sliding garden doors overlooking the green hills of Tawstock. Past the sliding doors is a wooden terrace, ideal for an alfresco meal or summer BBQ.
The master bedroom combines a classic mix of old and new. Thick wooden beans are the feature of this room and contrast nicely with the modern king size bed. There is also a dressing table, and plenty of space in the double wardrobe for clothes. The master bedroom en-suite features French décor and Paris themed paintings, and contains a large shower, loo and sink.
The double bedroom and twin bedroom both have large sloping ceilings and an impressive-sized built-in wardrobe. While the bunk room is ideal for children, with classic toys, books and paintings dotted around the room.
A short walk from the front door is the games room, which can be used by all the guests at Parkgate. This quaint hidey-hole will please both the young and young at heart with table tennis, table football and darts all available. The younger members of the family can also use the children's play area on the grass; the timber play centre includes a slide and two swings.
