Other local points of interest include the sandy beach at Westward Ho!, the private village of Clovelly, and the seaside town of Bude in Cornwall. This historical thatched cottage provides a relaxing base for exploring North Devon, with plenty of space for a family or group of friends.
The ground floor of the cottage features a light-filled lounge with a stone fireplace and wood burner effect electric fire, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There is also a second lounge/diner with a large inglenook fireplace, sofa, armchairs, and a dining table. The traditional farmhouse kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer, with a separate utility room housing a washer/dryer. A main bathroom and separate WC are also located on the ground floor.
Upstairs, guests will find four bedrooms (three doubles and one twin), a shower room with WC, and an office space for catching up on work if needed. Outside, a spacious garden with table and chairs provides a lovely spot for outdoor dining, although children should be supervised due to a stream running through the garden.
