Perched on the cliff edge, the cottage offers stunning sea views to the south and west, as well as across Start Bay to the east. The lighthouse itself, built in 1863 and electrified in 1959, provides a unique and picturesque setting for a getaway.

Guests can enjoy the half-mile private drive along the headland, which is shared with walkers on the South West Coast Path. The location offers access to breathtaking cliff top walks and is within a short drive of sandy beaches such as East Portlemouth, Slapton, and Blackpool Sands. The cottage features three bedrooms, one bathroom, a decked patio overlooking the cliffs and sea, WiFi, parking for two vehicles, and a range of modern amenities.

While the cottage is an operational lighthouse with an automatic fog signal, guests can enjoy the abundance of bird life and panoramic views. The property is not pet-friendly, and children must be over 11 years old for safety reasons.
