Built in the 1850s, this cottage offers a cozy retreat for up to 6 guests, with two living rooms, a courtyard with a dining area, and a newly installed log burner. The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals with fresh local ingredients. The town of Brixham is known for its artisan shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it a food lover's paradise.

The cottage has two bedrooms on the first floor, both lovingly restored with original wooden floors and window shutters. The top floor features a modern bathroom and a third bedroom with twin beds. New carpets were added in September 2022 for additional comfort. Hope Cottage is centrally located in Brixham, close to amenities and the popular Middle Street. However, it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues and is limited to a maximum of four adults.

Guests can enjoy all rooms and floors at Hope Cottage, except for the external stairs off the rear courtyard for safety reasons. A refundable security deposit is required, and a minimum 3-night stay applies. The neighborhood of Higher Street in Brixham offers a quaint and characterful atmosphere, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops. The South West Coast Path is nearby for scenic walks, and attractions like Paignton Zoo and Dartmouth Steam Railway are a short drive away. Guests can also explore the area by taking passenger ferries to Torbay or Dartmouth, or by using the regular bus service.
