Situated near the coast, beaches, shops, pubs, and restaurants of St Marychurch and Babbacombe, Mount Rose is only a ten minute walk from Babbacombe Downs and the train/lift down to Oddicombe Beach.

The cottage is surprisingly spacious, with a large fully equipped family kitchen, a cosy lounge, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms with new beds - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the lounge for extra sleeping space. The house is furnished to a high standard, combining modern comforts with traditional charm. Free parking is available on the road outside the house, and there is a bus stop just 30 meters away that can take you to Torquay harbour in 12 minutes.

Guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of their stay as WiFi is not provided in the cottage, although 4G is available if needed. Nearby attractions include the Bygones Victorian Museum, Torquay Museum, Torquay Golf Club, and the S W Coast Path. Families traveling with children can visit Babbacombe Model Village and Gardens, while outdoor enthusiasts can partake in activities such as jet skiing, snorkeling, hiking, biking, and cycling in the surrounding area.
