The ancient fishing village of Bucks Mills, nestling in a beautiful wooded valley, through which waterways flow and tumble down to the rock, sand and shingle beach below (a favourite for prawning!), is just a mile by car or via a scenic woodland walk. The many famous beauty spots including Tamar Lakes, Spekes Mill Waterfalls, Hartland Point and the famous and picturesque village of Clovelly are also within a short, scenic drive.
