New Barn Reservoir is a charming and unique converted water reservoir with domed high ceilings, archways, and big windows offering stunning countryside views. Situated in a quiet location at the top of Ringmore, the property is away from the village of Shaldon, with alpacas as the nearest neighbors. The property has comfortable bedrooms and a spacious kitchen/dining area, along with two outside seating areas for enjoying sunsets and al fresco dining. Shaldon is a picturesque fishing village with stunning views, a river beach, and the famous Shaldon ferry to Teignmouth. Nearby attractions include Torquay, with its harbor and boat trips to Brixham, as well as National Trust properties and Exeter with its cathedral and independent shops.
The property is a short distance from Dartmoor, known for its tors and ponies, as well as charming villages where you can enjoy a Devon cream tea. With so many places to visit in Devon, one trip is never enough. The beach is just 1.5 miles away, with a shop a quarter of a mile from the property and a pub and restaurant within 700 yards. Free WiFi is available, but please note there are steps to the property and open water in the grounds. This cottage is located by the sea in Teignmouth, with local landmarks including the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Andrew and Torre Abbey, and attractions such as Grand Pier and Babbacombe Model Village and Gardens.
