The Hay Barn is a detached cottage converted from a barn on a traditional working farm near the Devon village of Halwell. It sleeps five people in two bedrooms, with a double room and a family room with a double and single bed. The cottage features a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with a wood burning stove, and private patio with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Guests can also enjoy shared use of an indoor swimming pool, play area, games room, and trampoline on the farm.

Amenities at The Hay Barn include central heating, underfloor heating, a microwave, fridge, freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, TV with Blu-ray, DVD, and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, cot, and highchair are provided, and there is off-road parking for three cars. The cottage is pet-friendly, welcoming up to three well-behaved dogs with an additional charge for the second and third pets. The swimming pool is available from 8am to 8pm, occasionally used by the owners' family and friends.
