Bull Point Lighthouse, located in Nr Woolacombe, Devon, has been a guiding beacon since its construction in 1879. Over the years, it has witnessed significant events, including a ground movement in 1972 that caused a partial collapse of the engine and fog station. The current automated lighthouse, managed remotely from Harwich, Essex, retains much of the original equipment. While the lighthouse keepers are no longer present, the adjacent cottages have been refurbished to provide modern comforts, including luxurious bedding and well-equipped kitchens, making them ideal for contemporary visitors. WiFi is available, though its reliability can vary, especially during storms.

The restoration of the cottages has maintained the original charm of the location while ensuring that guests enjoy essential amenities for a comfortable stay. Notably, the fog horn was discontinued in 1988, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to bring binoculars to observe the fishing boats navigating the Bristol Channel. The nearby village of Mortehoe offers a quaint experience with its pubs, restaurants, and shops, all easily accessible on foot from the lighthouse. For those seeking more variety, the popular village of Woolacombe, known for its Blue Flag sandy beach, is just 1.2 miles away via the scenic South West Coast Path.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore a circular walk from Woolacombe to Putsborough Sands, approximately 4 miles long, which presents breathtaking views and the chance to spot seals. Additionally, the historic town of Ilfracombe, located under 6 miles away, features the largest harbor on the North Devon Coast and is home to Damien Hirst's impressive sculpture, Verity. Ilfracombe also offers beautiful beaches, local dining options, and boat trips to Lundy Island, enhancing the area's appeal for visitors.

Siren, one of the four cottages at Bull Point Lighthouse, provides generous single-storey accommodation, including a sea-facing sitting room, a dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms—two with king-size beds and one with a single bed. The modern bathroom and outdoor spaces, including a shared courtyard and communal grassy area, add to the overall experience. The other cottages include Warden, the smallest, accommodating two guests and one dog; Triton, which sleeps four guests and welcomes two dogs; and Sherrin, the largest detached property that also sleeps five guests and allows two dogs.
