The village-like town offers great amenities such as a convenience store, butcher's shop, baker's shop with delicious bread and cakes, as well as pubs and a tea shop. Chulmleigh is nestled between Exmoor and Dartmoor, providing easy access to the coast and beautiful beaches. The over 250-year-old cottage overlooks the church and features a private courtyard at both the front and back. Inside, there are two double bedrooms, a small single bedroom, a kitchen/dining area, and a cosy living room with a wood burner for chilly days. The bathroom upstairs has a shower over the bath, while downstairs there is a W.C. All towels and bedding are provided, and the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. Small dogs are welcome, with the local shop stocking logs and kindling for the fire. The nearby Red Lion pub offers home-style cooked food and ales, and the cottage backs onto Chulmleigh golf course, an 18-hole par 3 course.
