River Cottage is a charming attached property on three levels, featuring lovely elevated views of the river. The cottage includes two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room and balcony, as well as a single bedroom with access to a terrace. Guests can also enjoy a family bathroom, a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen/dining room, a utility room, and a WC. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with a BBQ, as well as a sunny paved area with a bench overlooking the river.
Visitors to Calstock can enjoy walks from the village, with a footpath leading to the National Trust property, Cotehele House. The area was once a thriving mining valley and is now a World Heritage Site filled with birdsong.
