Situated on 12 acre small holding in quiet wooded valley surrounded by spectacular Exmoor countryside yet within a few minutes drive of this delightful village with shop, post office and character inn serving good food. The picturesque twin coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth with harbour, riverside walks and famous funicular railway are just a short scenic drive and the Victorian coastal resort of Ilfracombe with a choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, theatre and fishing harbour is within 20 minutes drive. Ideal location for those wishing to explore the splendours of the Exmoor countryside by foot, car or horseback (riding stables closeby) whilst the magnificent sandy surfing beach at Woolacombe is less than 15 miles scenic drive.
Each cottage was newly converted for the 2010 season whilst retaining many character features including exposed beams. Accommodation has been furnished and equipped to a good quality throughout, and includes central heating and wood burning stoves to ensure year round warmth. There is ample storage available for surfboards and cycles and visitors are welcome to roam the 12 acre site.
Two attractive bedrooms - double with four poster bed and dual access ensuite bathroom/wc with roll top bath and hand shower attachment and twin bedded with ensuite shower room/wc. Spacious beamed and comfortable living/dining room with rugs on stone flooring, woodburner in attractive fireplace (first basket of logs provided), feature mezzanine, TV, freesat and DVD. Fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, elec oven and microwave and small freezer. Small private lawned garden with patio, mature borders and parking available within the grounds for 2 cars.
