Accessed via two flights of steep stairs, Merchants Rise may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or very young children. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, with a maximum of two dogs allowed for an additional charge. The apartment features a modern kitchen with a dining area, a characterful living room with a period fireplace, wood panelling, and original 17th-century mullioned windows. It is comfortably furnished with two sofas, a coffee table, and a 30” flatscreen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. An additional sofa bed is available for extra guests.
Merchants Rise offers two bedrooms, including a master bedroom on the top floor with a king-sized bed, a lounge area with two easy chairs, and a flatscreen TV. The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom features a walk-in shower, bath, and WC. The second bedroom, a cabin room, is furnished with a 4ft double bed and a 2ft 6 single bed, suitable for one adult or child. This bedroom also has an en-suite shower room with WC and basin. The apartment is located near Dartmouth Museum, Golden Hind, Brixham Harbour, and Brixham Marina, offering various cultural highlights and activities for guests to enjoy.
