The cottage is part of a collection of nine cottages that have been converted from a working farm, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting amidst lush pasture land. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the countryside and take advantage of the on-site amenities, including a heated indoor swimming pool and recreational facilities. The interior of Swift Cottage features exposed roof beams, an open gallery, and a large lounge/dining area with a slate floor, wood-burning stove, and modern amenities like a smart TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is well-equipped and adjacent to the dining area, while the ground floor bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room. The main bedroom on the first floor features a king-size bed, en-suite shower room, and smart TV. Heating, linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are included for added convenience. Outside, guests can relax on the large front patio with a picnic table, barbecue, and fire pit, surrounded by pot plants and shrubs. The communal areas offer additional amenities like an indoor heated swimming pool, games room, children's play area, picnic area, and barbecue facilities.
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, the management company installed a biomass boiler for the communal building in 2015 and a twin charging post for electric cars in 2021.
