The newly converted barn is furnished to a high standard and offers a spacious open plan layout with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge/dining area, and two ensuite bedrooms. One bedroom features a king-size bed with a Juliet balcony overlooking open fields, while the other bedroom has a zip and link bed that can be configured as a king or two small singles. The cottage also includes a downstairs cloakroom and private parking at the front, as well as a private courtyard garden at the rear with a BBQ, table and chairs, and a 6-person hot tub offering views across the fields to the woodland beyond.

Guests staying at the cottage can enjoy the natural surroundings and wildlife, such as the nightly chorus of owls and deer roaming in the fields. The property is situated next to a working sheep farm and unfortunately does not allow pets. Freshly laid eggs and homemade jam can be provided on arrival upon request, and the nearest village of Dunkeswell offers amenities such as a grocery shop, Indian restaurant, bar, and fish and chip shop. Dunkeswell airfield, the highest licensed airfield in the UK, is a 5-minute drive away and offers tandom skydives for thrill-seekers.

Honiton, a 10-minute drive from the cottage, is a market town with various bars, restaurants, supermarkets, antique shops, and boutiques. The beautiful Jurassic Coast is a short drive away, approximately 30 minutes, and local activities include the Yarak Bird of Prey experience, Diggerland, and The Bear Trail, Devon's muddiest family assault course. This self-catering cottage provides everything needed for a perfect stay, making it an ideal base for exploring the South West of England and enjoying the many attractions and natural beauty of the region.
