The chalet is situated in Norton Park, a peaceful holiday park with well-kept grounds, although there are no on-site facilities.

The chalet has been extensively renovated with new energy-efficient windows and doors, as well as insulation to ensure a comfortable stay. Bed linen is included in the price, but guests are asked to bring their own bath towels. Electricity is payable via a £1 coin meter, and there is no official Wi-Fi on site, although mobile devices work well with the excellent 4G signal. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the chalet, with a cleaning fee of £75 for a clean with laundry, and an additional £25 if dogs have been staying.

Guests can access the chalet via a key lock, and are reminded to clear up after their dogs when walking them around the park on a lead.
