Berry Lawn Linhay bothy perches on top of some of England’s highest cliffs, with amazing views to the north over the Bristol Channel, and magnificent views of the Watersmeet Valley and Exmoor on other sides.
The former farm building offers a simple, basic walkers’ overnight shelter. There is a sink unit with cold water tap (not drinking water) and two double sleeping platforms. There are no windows to the bothy; however, the front door is glazed. There is a small open courtyard to the rear of the bothy housing the composting toilet cubicle.
It is the perfect place to get away from it all, with minimal noise and light pollution and animals grazing nearby. Berry Lawn Linhay Bothy is minutes away from the South West Coast Path, about 500m from the nearest pub and approximately 2 miles from the nearest town of Lynmouth.
