The town is known for its old bridge, which connects it to a neighboring village, as well as its stunning countryside and coastline, including blue flag sandy beaches like Westwood Ho! just a short drive away.
Bideford offers a range of amenities, pubs, and restaurants to cater to visitors of all ages. Nearby villages such as Appledore, Instow, and Clovelly are also worth exploring. The town is famous for its New Year's Eve celebrations, where locals and visitors dress up in fancy costumes and gather at the quayside inns to welcome the new year. It's important to note that Diesel’s Den is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties due to the stairs and lack of allocated parking. However, 3 or 4 night short breaks are available year-round, with flexible changeover days upon request. This pet-friendly property allows guests to bring their furry companions along for the trip.
