A gateway to Dartmoor, this compact but cosy one-bedroom cottage sits on the eastern border of the National Park. Find a modern space inside where you can curl up by the log-burner or dine al fresco in its enclosed garden.
It was once the entrance lodge to the Parke estate located just outside the lively market town of Bovey Tracey. It is located on the road between the town and the National Trust car park at Parke which means it’s the perfect location for exploring the countryside around Parke or for walking into the town for local shops and pubs. Take a short stroll around the estate’s garden, or a longer more strenuous walk through the woodlands and along the river to the medieval weir.
The Lodge is ideally placed for those who want to explore Devon’s national park and coast. The pretty seaside towns of Paignton, Brixham and Torquay can be reached within a 40-minute drive.
Self-catering cottage holidays in the UK and Ireland can still be a green option. You can have the comforts of home and the flexibility to do what you want; when you want - without the hassles of air travel!
