The Palms is a Victorian House located in Taunton, Devon, in the South West of England, that can accommodate up to 10 guests. It has been recently refurbished and redecorated in preparation for the Summer of 2018. The house features a sitting room with a 42” TV and real flame fire, a dining room that can seat up to eight people, and a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The downstairs also includes a compact double bedroom with an adjoining toilet and access to the garden.
On the first floor, there is a spacious kingsized bedroom with a 32" TV and DVD player, a double bedroom overlooking the garden, and a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and toilet. The second floor has a loft conversion with a small double bed and a single bed, as well as an en suite toilet and wash hand basin. The garden at The Palms has a sunny aspect with palm trees, and there is unrestricted free parking available on the street, although it can be in high demand at times.
The location of The Palms in Taunton offers easy access to the charming Quantock Hills and the nearby coast. The house is within walking distance to Taunton's amenities, a supermarket, and a takeaway. It is also conveniently located near the M5 motorway and Taunton railway station, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Guests can enjoy various activities such as cycling, hiking, fishing, and swimming in the surrounding natural beauty of Quantock Hills and Blackdown Hills, as well as visiting attractions like AJ'z Activity Centre and Bishop's Lydeard Station.
