The property also features a family bathroom, a ground floor cloakroom, and a terrace with views over the town. Guests are provided with a parking permit for one car in a local car park.

The cottage is equipped with modern amenities such as gas central heating, a woodburning stove, an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, iPod dock, and WiFi. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, along with a starter pack for the stove. Pets are allowed, with one well-behaved dog welcome for an additional fee.
