Watendlath Bothy sits next to the tarn in the peaceful hamlet it shares its name with. You’ll be high in the valley with unparalleled views of the surrounding fells.
Inside offers basic accommodation, with a few added comforts including the log-burner and a fully-equipped kitchen. There’s enough room to sleep six, you’ll just need to bring your own sleeping bags and ‘camping’ equipment.
Find lots of walking trails around the lake as well as a tea-room in Watendlath. Not too far north is the Lodore Falls and larger lake, Derwent Water.
Preferred changeover days are Friday or Monday.
