Located in the village of Lorton near Keswick in the Lake District National Park, Scales Cottage is a charming 17th-century Lakeland cottage that can accommodate up to six people in three bedrooms. The cottage features beams, Wi-Fi, and is pet-friendly, making it an ideal choice for a family holiday. The interior includes two king-size double bedrooms, one double bedroom, a family bathroom, a large kitchen with a dining area and wood-burning stove, and a comfortable sitting room.

A starter pack for the stove is included in the rent, along with bed linen. Towels are not provided, but a cot can be requested if needed. Guests are welcome to bring up to three well-behaved pets, and there is a pond on-site where guests can fish for rainbow trout.
