Greywalls is a charming, detached cottage located in Maulds Meaburn near Shap, Cumbria, in the North of England. The cottage can accommodate up to six guests in its three bedrooms, including one super-king-size, one super-king-size, and one ground-floor double room. There is also a ground-floor shower room, a kitchen/diner, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is off-road parking for two small cars, additional roadside parking, and an enclosed garden with furniture.

The property boasts amenities such as oil central heating, a woodburning stove, electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, Smart TVs, Bluetooth speaker, and WiFi. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a highchair and travel cot are available for self-assembly. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and it is a non-smoking property. The cottage is conveniently located near the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it an ideal base for exploring the stunning landscapes of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

The Lake District offers impressive mountains, open fells, and clear-water lakes, providing a variety of outdoor activities such as walking, watersports, and leisurely cruises on steam-powered yachts. Shap, a small village in the Eden district of Cumbria, is home to 18th century properties, pubs, shops, a Post Office, swimming pool, and a memorial park. Shap Abbey, surrounded by beautiful scenery along the River Lowther, is a half-mile away from the village. This location is perfect for exploring the picturesque landscapes of the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales.

Situated in Penrith, the cottage is in a rural area and near a river, offering easy access to the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Lake District National Park. Nearby attractions include Kennedys Fine Chocolates and Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre. Visitors can enjoy water adventures like fishing, as well as outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area.
