Situated in a peaceful hamlet near Coniston Water, guests can enjoy a private pathway to the lake with a private beach for residents, as well as numerous walking routes through woodlands and around the lake. Adventurous visitors can kayak to Peel Island or Wild Cat Island, made famous by the novel Swallows and Amazons. The area also offers opportunities for hiking The Old Man of Coniston and exploring the southern Lake District.
