Bishop Howe is a charming stone-built cottage located on the outskirts of Far Sawrey village in Ambleside, Cumbria. The cottage can accommodate up to five guests in three bedrooms, including a king-size double, a twin, and a single room. There is a bathroom and a ground floor shower room available for guests' convenience. The open plan living area features a kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area with an open fire, as well as a utility room and a second sitting room with another open fire. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and a raised lawned garden with a veranda and outdoor furniture.

The amenities at Bishop Howe include electric heaters, electric oven and induction hob, microwave, Nespresso Machine, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky, and WiFi. Fuel and power are included in the rent, with additional fuel for the open fires available locally. Bed linen and towels are also provided. The cottage does not allow pets or smoking on the premises, and there are stone steps to the front door and a few steps to the rear door. Bookings must be made for a Saturday to Saturday stay.

Far Sawrey village has a Post Office/store and a pub/restaurant, while Bowness is easily accessible by ferry and offers shops, restaurants, and leisure facilities.
