Private parking is available outside the cottage, with a 7kW EV charger for electric vehicles, making it convenient for guests with cars.

Pets are welcome at Townfoot Cottage, with up to two well-behaved dogs allowed to stay. The cottage does not allow cats, but there are foldaway camping chairs provided for guests to use outside. Located in Ambleside, the cottage is in a rural area near local landmarks like Dove Cottage and Allan Bank, as well as the natural beauty of Lake District National Park and Skelwith Force.
