The upside-down layout features bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, with an open-plan living area on the first floor, complete with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is a raised decked area with a hot tub and furniture, as well as an enclosed lawned garden, and off-road parking for two cars is available. Super Sonic Wi-Fi is also available, and fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is located on a working livestock farm, and due to the raised balcony, children should be supervised at all times. Dufton itself is a delightful village with a pub serving food, and the annual Agricultural Show is a popular event. Nearby Appleby-in-Westmorland is a picturesque town in the heart of the Eden Valley, offering a range of shops and serving as a key stop for the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway. The Appleby-in-Westmorland Jazz festival in July is a highlight, and walkers can explore Dufton Fell and the Pennine Way for stunning views. With Pooley Bridge and Penrith within easy reach, Dufton is an excellent base for a holiday in Cumbria, offering a variety of outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and horse riding in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
