Located in Frizington, Cumbria, this fully furnished mid terraced cottage in the North of England sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The cottage features a hot tub, open fire, and is pet-friendly. It offers stunning views of the mountains at the head of Ennerdale Water, making it an ideal base for exploring the Western Lakes, including Ennerdale, Crummock, Buttermere, and Loweswater. The beach at St Bees and the harbor town of Whitehaven are also easily accessible from the cottage.
On the ground floor, there is a separate dining room and a cozy lounge with a Smart TV, DVD player, and a selection of DVDs. The well-equipped kitchen and utility room can be accessed from the back lane, which also leads to a yard with a tap/hosepipe for cleaning muddy dogs and boots. There is also a downstairs toilet and shower room on this floor. Upstairs, there are two large double bedrooms, one with an en-suite jacuzzi bath and shower. Both bedrooms offer comfortable double beds, with the front bedroom boasting views of Ennerdale Water.
The cottage has a good-sized garden with grassed areas and a small pond, as well as an enclosed yard for storing bikes. The C2C cycle path runs close to the village, making it a convenient location for cyclists. Guests have access to the entire house and garden, with the exception of a locked cupboard under the stairs. Entry is via a lockbox, and guide books, activity leaflets, and local takeaway menus are provided for guest convenience. The location of the cottage in the mountains offers easy access to cultural attractions like The Beacon and Castlegate House Gallery, as well as family-friendly activities such as Opera Bingo and Funtastic Softplay Centre.
